Formed in 2009 by frontman Mike “Woody” Wood in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, Woody & the Rebel Alliance has built a reputation for their unique sound—what they call Reggae-Inspired Jam Rock. Seamlessly blending reggae, funk, jam-band improvisation, and a touch of rock & roll, their music is danceable, uplifting, and unafraid to push beyond genre lines. The band has earned acclaim across New England and beyond, including winning the 2012 StrangeCreek Battle of the Bands and being a Hard Rock Café worldwide finalist in 2013. Known for their fun-loving energy and commitment to community, WRA is a staple of the Northeast festival scene, delivering powerful performances that keep crowds moving from the first note to the last.
